X-Large comic today! Little known fact - Nostalgia is the strongest force in the universe. Fact. Scientific fact.
Downloadable Content for games isn't something that sits well with me. I feel it's moving the industry down a slippery slope of cross promotion and watered down content. The controversial Mass Effect 3 DLC was an interesting one in the sordid history of this tacked on crap. In my opinion we need to move back to large, high quality expansion packs. They allow deep theme exploration and proper development time. But most importantly, they are large enough that I would go back to a game I wasn't playing anymore to enjoy them.
I assume millions of people must do, because DLC seems to sell like hotcakes, but I can't stop and start a game every month to hop in and play an hour or two of DLC. That is not what I call an immersive experience.
